In Theaters: Clint Eastwood who swept the major Oscars® with Million Dollar Baby, produced, starred, directed, and did the music. Impressive! The Aviator received an impressive 11 Academy Award® nominations and won five. I loved Finding Neverland, a fabulous story of the real-life events that inspired J.M. Barrie (Johnny Depp) to write his beloved play, Peter Pan. On DVD: Jamie Foxx and Tom Cruise mix it up in one of my favorite movies of 2004, Collateral. One of most entertaining films of 2004, Troy, was released on DVD on January 4th. Perhaps the best action movie made in 2004, King Arthur, was released on DVD with a widescreen, unrated Director's cut. The recent DVD First Daughter may appeal to families with young teens. Where was Napoleon Dynamite at the Oscars®? It should have won in the best low-budget teen film category! |
