Original Song - "Count Your Blessings Instead of Sheep" by Irving Berlin
Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye become a successful song and dance team after serving in the army together. They meet a singing sister act (Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen) in Florida and ride back to New York on the train with them. The song they sing together on the train "Snow" is the one I enjoyed most, and the song "What Can You Do With a General" is perhaps one of the stupidest songs I have ever heard.
When the boys find out their former general (Dean Jagger) owns a ski resort and may face financial ruin because there is no snow, they decide to host a large TV production there. It's corny and predictable, but the chemistry between the players makes it work.
