The story revolves around a man Hrundi V. Bakshi (Peter Sellers). He is an actor from India and is trying his luck in Hollywood as an extra artist. However his unsual habits and activities makes everyone cracy on the set and everyone is quite annoyed and irritated by his senseless talks. He is fired from the job however some misunderstanding happens the fired list gets exchanged with the party list and mistakenly he is being invited for the exclusive Hollywood party. The party has all the big and rich personalities from the movie world. The story progresses as Hrundi adjusts himself in the grand party doing things and activities creating laughter riots. The extraordinary party turns out to be a great mess because of his presence.
