A severe outbreak of diphtheria hits a military outpost; struck down with illness the outpost is defenseless. The authorities send a train with medical supplies and small U. S. Heading through Rocky Mountains a passenger on the train is murdered and then the entire population of several cars. A man under arrest and being transported, John Deakin (Charles Bronson) is under suspicion. Deakin does some digging to get to the bottom of all the spilled blood.
